About me

b. 1986, HK.

About me

I am a UX designer, specialized in UX writing and based in Toulouse, France.

Working for Pollux-Docaposte for the past three years has given me the opportunity to evolve on large-scale B2B and B2C solutions.

I am a strong advocate of inclusive design.

The importance of being part of a designer community

As designers, we are lucky to be part of a professional community keen to share experiences and experimentations. Here is how I try to contribute:

  • Hexagone UX Mentor Program: I seized the opportunity to join the Hexagon UX program as a mentee, in order to learn and support a fantastic program based on design and inclusivity.

  • Flupa conference: I also co-presented at a Flupa conference on Design and inclusivity to the Toulouse design community.

In the past

My studies in journalism led me to Ireland, where I specialized in video and photography. Despite the challenging accent of the green land, my English is bilingual. Thanks to my previous experiences in journalism, photography, and video, I acquired skills in project management and interpersonal communication, which happen to be extremely useful in my practice of design.

Photography & video experience

PrestaShop

I started my first step in the tech Industry at PrestaShop as a Video Project Manager. My role was to create all the videos from scratch, requiring me to understand the ecosystem and the technical details around the product and each release.

Meero

I then joined Meero as an Image Specialist and Quality Lead Manager. A technical-oriented position that taught me about the relation between the client’s needs and the product development and its limits.

Japhy

A few years later, pet food company Japhy was building a new team to work on its image. I seized this opportunity to become their video & photography creator.

Hobbies

Illustration

As a kid, my dream would have been to be a cartoon maker. However, after one year of studying 3D Animation, I realized it wasn’t for me. I still enjoy spending time making illustrations, using classical tools, or more recently, Procreate.

Film Photography

Every kid from the 90s remembers using a film camera. I only used digital as a professional and kept the practice of film photography as my main hobby. Currently learning to develop my own films in a lab!
